All Purpose Sand produces the following: blasting products, dried sand, golf course
products, and dry blended products. For more information review the list below. Blasting Sand and Blends
Regular Sand - used for coarser materials and applications
Fine Sand - used for lighter metals and smoother finished
products
Reg. Sand/Blastox - used for stablization of lead-based paint. Reduces
disposal costs by rendering spent abrasives non hazardous material.
Black Diamond/Coal Slag - used for blasting in lieu of regular sand
Black Diamond/Blastox - same as Regular Sand/Blastox
- Products can be purchased bulk by
the ton, in 100 lbs bags and 2000 lbs supersacks.
Golf Course Products
Dry Fine - used for top dressing greens and tee boxes
Fine Sand - used for green/tee box construction, trap sand
Organic Blends - sand mixed with peat moss or rice hulls for course
construction
Emerald Green Sand - green colored sand used for divot repair (simply
mix with favorite grass seed for quick repair)
Specialty/Filter Sands
Filter Bed Sand - approved by the Illinois EPA for use in septic
systems
Water Treatment/Pool Filter Sand - used by drinking water systems
NSF Approved water filter sand sizes: .45-.55;
.55-.65; .65-.85 and 1/8 - 16.
